I’m Stella — a mother, birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, and movement guide.

My Story

I love sharing the fuller details of my journey into birth work as we get to know each other. The short version is: I was called into this work. I’ve been brought to this earth to walk with people across the threshold into parenthood.

During the first birth I ever attended — with zero lived experience birthing, or supporting anyone through birth — I still knew exactly how to show up. With a calm and grounded presence, I observed and listened for what was needed. Even before I’d crossed the threshold into parenthood myself, I felt confident being called in to witness and support people through this sacred rite of passage.

Nearly 100 births later, I found myself nearing that threshold. I questioned every single thing I’d ever advised a pregnant person or couple to do to prepare — because the truth is, when every comfort and resource you think you need falls away, when it’s just you, your body, your baby, your breath, you dig deep into yourself and find your own way to ride the unpredictable waves of pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and parenthood. There is no method, diet, or movement routine that can guarantee an outcome. Anyone who tells you otherwise is under the illusion that we have real control over this beautifully mysterious process of creating, growing, and birthing new life.

Life is a miracle. It’s with this reverence and awe that I support individuals, couples, and families — to honor the remarkably unique experience you’re living, to help you access confidence, clarity, and strength from the inside out, and to witness you with warm, loving presence every step of the way.
