Postpartum Doula Services

When mothers are nourished and well, babies are nourished and well, and this ripples into the greater family and community. Allow yourself and every member of your newly expanded family to be held and cared for so you can all thrive together.

What a Visit Looks Like

Each visit is 3 hours during the day, and begins with an initial check-in to hear how you are feeling and what you need most that day.

From there, I tend to you and your space — so you can rest, and your baby can stay cozy on your body or close by your side. A visit might look like:

  • Processing and integrating your birth and early postpartum experience

  • Everything you need brought to your bedside or rocking chair, so you can nourish and comfort your baby with confidence and ease

  • Warm food and tea prepared and ready for you to enjoy

  • A candlelit herbal bath or foot soak to support your healing and to calm your nervous system

  • Exploring any challenges in feeding, baby care, sleep, etc., offering support and additional references if your needs extend beyond my scope

  • Light tidying and organizing to keep your space feeling comfortable and fresh

What This Is Really About

You are my top priority — your nourishment, your hydration, your rest, your vitality, your healing. My intention is for you to feel supported, calm, and confident about the hours and days ahead when I leave.

Easy-to-eat meals and snacks, ready in the fridge. Outstanding tasks, complete. Clarity around what you need that day to feel nourished and whole. You and your baby, ready to ease into rest.

I am always available to hold your baby if that’s what you need in our time together. That said, I’m passionate about keeping the mother-baby dyad connected and intact, using our time to focus on you, your healing, and your well-being.

Your partner or co-parent is prioritized here too — adjusting to this new chapter alongside you, and deserving of care in their own right, not just as a support to yours. Part of what makes postpartum so sweet is watching a partner find their own rhythm of bonding with baby, as your family settles into its new shape together.

For baby holding, house cleaning and tidying, and heart-uplifting company beyond our time together, I encourage you to call in your people. Those you want in your space — not feel obligated to invite. Those who offer an affirming, comforting presence. Those whose company truly nourishes you. An hour to yourself, to shower, to stretch, to do anything hands-free, can be a gift from the friends and family lucky enough to love you.

If there are people in your life you’d love to have around for birth and postpartum, but you’re not sure they know how to show up the way you need — I can help with that too.

You are not meant to hold it all.

I’d be honored to be one of many supportive humans in your village, creating and nourishing a postpartum time in which your rest, bonding, and healing are the top priority.
